Jacob Roskovensky

As working owner of The Mill at Sugar Grove, Jacob involved in all aspects of the weddings.   He works on bookings, planning, and seeing the weddings through.   He lives on site, so he is often around.

Jacob has two degrees in Education and has taught since 2006.   He is currently the certified librarian for the Danville School District #118 in Danville, Illinois.    He planned numerous proms before hosting weddings on his farm.   He had wanted to have a farm since he could talk, and in 2015 he made his dreams come true by purchasing the farm next to the farm his grandparents purchased in 1968.   

Weddings just sort of happened, it is a big beautiful space, and it brings so much life to the farm.   The weddings are a good fit for this property.   

He also has flipped houses and drives a school bus part time.  

In 2023 he was named Forty Under 40 in Central Illinois for his contributions to Edgar and Vermillion Counties  and school libraries in Illinois.   He served as President of the Illinois School Librarians in FY 2018 and FY 2025.
